What enjoy people with wine ?of course reflect without taking into account the alcohol present in the wine which is only a component for really lovers…No I am joking alcohol is important too, but drink wine allows people to penetrate a spirit, it allows people to be full of feeling which you transport to soils all over the world, we imagine a country, and wine growers which prepare their beverage with passion.

But observing wine consumption all over the world we can see a strange phenomenon, it appears that bad wines tend to have a success quiet important. Why people buy those wines? Price? perhaps, but it would mean that this drink seem to loose its noble character. Wine, I am so disappointed, is becoming a drink of everyday consumption.

How can I claim that? it is easy, new world countries like Chilli but above all Australia are spreading a wine culture based on trade, sales and profit. New world wines are found the key of success, now quality is a secondary element, so what people want?

People are looking for a minimum range of wine, they do not want to be lost between hundreds of brands and Australia understood that gather producers was important? Moreover, we have to underline and enforce marketing and commercial force, now renown is not sufficient anymore. At last, perhaps the most important is to propose a wine adapted to consumers, for example Australia disposes of a data base gathering consumers information.

where buying wine????

100_1485.JPG

What is the real objective of wine? don't reflect anymore, the wine objective is to be bough and drunk. So now we are going to examine different ways to buy wine, with their advantages and disadvantages. Of course I do not claim to be a specialist so do not hesitate to react!

 CAVIST

Cavists are more reliable than other distributors, here are advantages·

Sometimes cavists choose wines from producers which a production insufficient capacity to full supermarket red, a good cavist is a cavist who choose his wine for the taste and not for the renown of the producer. Indeed a producer may product a good wine a year and a bad the next.·

They are more inclined with  advising you ,first because they are more available, second because they have normally a good knowledge of their product.

If you are lucky you may test the wine before buy it !!!!!!!

As nothing is perfect, there are disadvantages

Products may be more expensive

Cavists are not always sincere and competent, some of them only want to release a stock too important.

french wine

How can we speak about wine without speaking about french wine?

Actually, the best wine producer is suffering. Indeed french producers keep on promoting a traditional image which may be considered as old, as obsolete. World people may see in this way of promoting wine a french specific behavior, providing from the french exeption. French people, proud of their wine quality and of their success, seem to think that their knowledge and their reputation are sufficient. Things are changing…
